Williams Sonoma

Project Background:

To drive more traffic in store, I collaborated with Williams Sonoma to create and host an influencer event at their Yorkdale location.

Influencers enjoyed an immersive experience that they shared with their own audiences on their social channels.

Creative Process:

To showcase a wide variety of products available at Williams Sonoma, I proposed a theme for the event, "Breakfast for Dinner" and enlisted two fellow bloggers to co-host with me. I negotiated compensation for the hosts and requirements from Williams Sonoma (i.e. shopping discount for attendees, gift card giveaway) and worked with in-store staff on the logistics.

I also generated the guest list and gathered a list of home and lifestyle influencers in my personal network. I prepared the invitation graphic, emailed invitations, and conducted follow up on RSVPs.

We hosted three segments - a crepe demonstration, coffee recipes, and table styling. This required gathering and set up of materials and supplies, and conducting of the demonstrations. Each host shared their recipes or DIY instructions afterwards on her respective blog.

Results:

16 influencers from across the GTA were in attendance at the 2 hour event and shared on their social channels.

We also announced the launch of Williams Sonoma Home in select Canadian stores and built anticipation amongst the home bloggers and their audiences.
