Currently in its 10th year, the One Room Challenge (ORC) is a highly anticipated, global, biannual event that generates over 20 million impressions from design enthusiasts worldwide.
As one of 20 Featured Designers, I was tasked with making over a room in my home in just six weeks using products from 15 admired home decor brands.
Starting with an initial design concept for my living room renovation, I approached ORC brand sponsors and identified collaboration opportunities. From mood boards to behind the scenes videos, weekly blog posts to spectacular Before and After photos, the entire renovation process was shared online to a global audience.
Specific deliverables were required by each brand sponsor and content was scheduled throughout the six-week project. Shoppable links were shared on social channels to promote product awareness. Professional photography was provided to brands for their social and commercial use.
